ABOUT ROK BALLER

ROK’S ROK BALLER

THE MAIN GOAL

An old study has shown that children gain confidence by seeing photos of themselves displayed in their homes. Every parent has some photo of their child hanging somewhere in the house. When I was younger I used to get so excited when I knew I had a good basketball photo in the news paper. My goal is to help give all kids in my area that same confidence. I take time on each photo that I “hang on my wall”, to make sure it helps the young athletes see themselves just as strong and amazing as I see them. I want them to look back years down the road and remember how great they are and the things that they can accomplish. If you would like to lend support to helping me spread confidence to the youth in the community, please read more at the link below.

MY STORY

Hello, my name is Fred Atkins Jr. Many people know me as Rok Baller. When I was younger, I was always interested in art. It didn’t matter if it was music, drawing, painting, movies, or storytelling. Any art was good with me. However, as I became older a new love leaked into my life and would eventually take over as my #1 love. Basketball.

While becoming one of the top basketball players in my area, and eventually in the country, my art fell to the side. I was determined to play in the NBA, and I didn’t want to think about much else. Even though GOD had giving me many talents, I was writing my own story. I’m sure GOD thought that was hilarious, because he quickly changed that direction.

I’ll tell the full, loooong story at a later date on my YouTube channel. It’s a great story so you should subscribe to my channel now to get an alert on when that is posted.
