Is playing travel ball better than working individually on your game during the summer? I get asked this question by parents all of the time. My answer:
It’s ALWAYS better to just work on your game individually. It gives you a mental break from the season(sports burn-out is real) but still allows you to sharpen your skills. However, if you’re not going to be in the gym at least 5 times per week working on your game then you should definitely play travel ball for the conditioning and experience. Just my personal preference. What do you think? Has anyone had kids experience body breakdowns midway through their school season due to the extra mileage put on during travel ball?
