4 Years happens so fast. At the beginning of 4 years it seems like such a long time. At the end, it seems like 4 days. I’ve watched all of these current Seniors go from Fresh Fish to the current leaders of our community. You never actually think they’re going to ever graduate. It just seems like you’ll get to watch them play forever. But forever never happens and they always graduate. They go on to great things, mostly outside of this community, away from their nest. Now, I’ve reached the point of this journey where every single year I will be watching kids leave that I’ve seen since 9th grade. Some since middle school. These current seniors hold a special place in my heart, because they saw me through ANOTHER 4 years of high school. And those aren’t tears… my eyes just really sweat when I get hot.
